Canadian collective The New Pornographers is coming to Montreal for a concert at Le National on June 17th, 2010, with the Dodos and The Duchess & the Duke as the opening acts.
This Montreal concert is part of a vast North American tour which will kick off on May 31st, 2010, at the Sasquatch festival in the State of Washington. The tour will end on August 4th, in Madison, WI. A Toronto gig is also in the plans, on June 15th.
The New Pornographers will be releasing a new album on May 6th, 2010. Entitled Together, this new disc will feature, namely, the new single The Crash Years, which is already circulating on the Internet.
