U2 in Montreal - not one, but two concerts at Blue Bonnets

U2 will be in Montreal in July of 2010 and the venue chosen has finally been revealed! The concert will be held at the Montreal Hippodrome (Blue Bonnets). 

Plus, in addition to the originally planned gig on July 16th, the band will also be playing on Saturday, July 17th, 2010!
 
The site will be completely transformed in order to be converted into a gigantic open-skies stadium. Over 60,000 concert-goers will be able to attend and some 40,000 seats will be specially conceived for the event.
 
Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2010 and will require 2 months of preparations in order welcome the famous Irish group. After what, one month will be needed to undo the settings for the concert.
