After a nice progression, Aleksandra Wozniak has hit a wall in the semi-finals of the Eastbourne tournament. The Quebecer lost in three sets to face Caroline Wozniacki (3-6, 6-4, 6-4).
It was the third confrontation between the two players, all three won by Wozniacki. The sixth series header and 9th in WTA rankings, now faces Denmark's Virginie Razzano in the final.
The defeat of Wozniak in Eastbourne, Great Britain, comes after a crushing lost by the Russian Vera Dushevina in two rounds 6-1 and 6-0 in the quarter-finals.
