The rumours were true: Arcade Fire and Pavement will be playing at Osheaga, which takes place at Parc Jean-Drapeau, in Montreal, on July 31st and August 1st, 2010.
The two bands will be headlining the saturday event, alongside Stars, Keane, The National, Jamie Lidell, Beach House, The Gaslight Anthem, Frank Turner, Avi Buffalo, Bahamas and Jimmy Cliff.
The next day (Sunday, August 1st), Weezer, Metric and The National will be headlining. For Metric, this will be the band's third presence at Osheaga (a record thus far).
Also present will be ecclectic DJ Deadmau5, Australian The Cat Empire, Ariane Moffatt, The Black Keys, Charlie Winston, Robyn, Sarah Harmer, Blitzen Trapper, Amanda Mabro and Ian Kelly.
More artists will be added to the lineup in the upcoming months.
