The rumors were circulating for some time now, but it seems that the super group formed by Dave Grohl (of Foo Fighters singer and former Nirvana drummer), Josh Homme (singer of Queens of the Stone Age) and John Paul Jones (bassist from Led Zeppelin) is beginning to take shape.
At least, this is what was announced on the Pitchfork website, which binds the promising project between those three big hitters from rock to a website and even a Twitter account.
Named Them Crooked Vultures, the dream project will provide a first closing concert of the festival Lollapalooza on 9 August.
Grohl, Homme and Jones have revealed to NME that they will be recording in Los Angeles. Some rumors says that they could even release their first album this fall, with a subsequent tour. Stay tuned ..
